We’ll be hosting two final Big Weekend events as a last chance to gather, celebrate, and take up space together before we close our doors in the face of the rising cost of living and a world rapidly reshaped by the accessibility of weight-loss drugs. We have already ceased our club nights and usual range of events due to the current financial pressures on venues.
For 2026 we're focussing on TWO Blackpool big weekends! These are pocket-friendly ways for plus size people to come together from throughout the UK and beyond, enjoy three days of Indulge for the price of one night in a London hotel! When you get a ticket, you'll get exclusive access to a whatsapp group to chat and meet your tribe!

What are Big Weekends?
Big Weekends are the evolution of everything we’ve learned from years of running iconic parties at Club Indulge.
For years, we built our reputation on fun, welcoming club nights and spaces where plus-size people could meet, dance, connect and feel part of a community who know exactly what it was like to live in a bigger body and the challenges we face. Those nights created community, confidence, relationships, and a lot of very happy memories.
But the landscape has changed.
With rising venue costs, staffing, security, insurance, and the very real financial pressure on both guests and venues (as well as Indulge as a business) traditional one-night club events have become increasingly difficult to run without cutting corners or raising prices beyond what feels fair, so we will no longer be hosting them for the forseeable future.
2026 will be our final year. We’ll host two last Big Weekend events, and after our November weekend we will no longer be running Club Indulge events.
We also have to acknowledge the reality of GLP1s. We’ve never judged anyone for what they choose to do with their body; in fact, owning your body has always been the point. And one of the truths at the heart of fat liberation has always been that life is often easier when you’re smaller - from healthcare to jobs to housing. Why would we stand in the way of people accessing that?
Whatever anyone’s personal opinion on GLP-1s, the real question for us as a business is: are we still needed? Right now, the honest answer is no. Confidence in your body is no longer a conceptual idea, you can find it in a £60 syringe...
So now is the time to join us whilst you still can!
Our weekend packages include your accommodation, meals, and all entertainment. We also have exclusive use of the hotel and pool - so you are free to roam as you want at will! Everything takes place all under one roof, and there's no need to hide in your room! At any point there will be someone in the bar, or the pool, or playing board games, or crafting...a whole host of activities you can join in with!
A weekend format gives everyone the freedom to move at their own pace. You can arrive, settle in, socialise slowly, take breaks, join activities, dress up, dress down, flirt, play, dance, or just chat. There’s room for quiet connection and high-energy partying - without anyone feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Instead of a few crowded hours, Big Weekends offer a richer, more relaxed, more inclusive experience built around confidence, community, and FUN! It means we can welcome anyone from anywhere around the UK and beyond!
