THE FUTURE OF INDULGE
The last few years has seen the decimation of nightlife as we know it. We have lost a lot of London stalwarts of the night time economy, and Indulge is not immune to the pressure on the industry after rising costs.
BUT! We still have an amazing community, and we've found that there are still great events we can host away from the traditional club nights. Hopefully that suit all tastes and budgets!

The Windsor has said it’s not viable for them to host Indulge nights any more without sharing the space with other groups or the public. We just don’t spend enough at the bar for them to justify keeping it open and paying weekend wages to the staff.

If you’ve been to recent London Indulge events you’ll see we’re just not pulling in the crowds we once did. I get it - it’s an expensive night out especially if you’re travelling in to London from outside. For the price of a Travelodge room you could come to the Big Weekend in Blackpool, with food included… and all you need to bring money for is a train ticket and cheap drinks from the bar.

I’ve looked at other venues and there’s just nowhere where we can have exclusively without spending a huge amount at the bar, which we just can’t do. This is the same in any other area of the country - we just don't spend enough for them to justify kicking out their normal, busy weekend crowds to let us take over which is why we have never been able to make it a success outside of London.
Sooooo… I don’t think we will be able to run any central London club nights next year.

Speed dating on Saturday is still going ahead at the Windsor as planned.

Christmas Indulge on 13 December will not be able to go ahead as planned. The Windsor has had to take another booking of 30 people on the same night. They’re happy to have us there too, but we can’t have exclusive use of the place. Exclusive use of the venue is what makes Indulge Indulge so I can’t run it as a normal event.

But I know a lot of you have made plans to come so join us still at the Windsor on 13 December, but it’ll be a meetup not the full Club Indulge we know and love.

The Windsor will be open all day until 11.30pm for anyone who wants to come, although there will be at least one other group there. There won’t be a host, or DJ, but Popworld round the corner is open until 4am for all your cheesy needs!

Because it’s not really a Club Indulge experience, I won’t be selling tickets so it will be completely free to enter - just like any other pub meet up. If you’ve already bought a ticket for Christmas or any 2026 club night, you should get a refund back to your payment provider in the next few days.

I am gutted but the economics just don’t add up - the night time economy isn’t what it was. I’ve fought hard for us to stay at the Windsor and they’ve accepted us as a smaller crowd for years, but all good things come to an end.
Halloween was an amazing event to go out on. A massive MASSIVE massive THANK YOU to all who’ve come to the Windsor, The Fine Line and our other London events - thank you for your support, you’re fun and gorgeous and you’ve made Indulge what it is. I’m so proud of you! It is my hope we can come back from a shitty time in economics when we are brighter, happier, and have more disposable income to spend on such luxuries like 'Having Fun'.
So this is the end of the central London club nights for now but not the end of Indulge! INDULGE WILL NEVER DIE!
...But we might need to pivot a bit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈
The Big Weekend in Blackpool sold out months ago, and it’s going to be a blast as always! I’ve already secured a date in November 2026 for the next Blackpool Big Weekend so you can have 2, 3 or even 4 nights of proper northern hospitality… who doesn’t love a cheap hotel packed full of indulgers, exclusive use of the pool, bring your own booze to your room, free food, karaoke on Friday, party night on Saturday, bingo on Sunday and cheap drinks at the bar all weekend? And of course Werewolf!

We MIGHT be able to do another Blackpool Big Weekend in the first half of 2026, but no promises yet. I’ll keep you posted. If you want it - show it! Now more than ever I need to know what the community wants; be it big weekends, club nights, karaoke...what will you really show up for if we provide it? Also in 2026 we will also be doing a spring and summer social events like we did this year. A couple of chilled out days in the garden and in the bar with all your favourite Indulgers, plus our clothes swap, games, crafts and more.

And I’m already working on ideas for taking Indulge to new places - new formats so we can party without needing a payday loan. Watch this space…!
