Fatstival is coming... and we want YOU to be part of it.
This isn't just another Big Weekend. We're turning the hotel into a celebration of fat creativity, talent, skills and community.
We want to turn the hotel into mini stages, workshops, galleries and pop-up experiences – and we want them to be filled by our Big Weekend guests!
Don't panic! Not a performer? No problem! Come and watch, browse, cheer people on and soak up the atmosphere - every great festival needs a fantastic audience.
🎤 Are you a singer, comedian, drag artist, burlesque performer, poet, musician or speaker?
🎨 Are you an artist, crafter, illustrator or photographer?
🧶 Do you knit, crochet, sew, make jewellery, create ceramics or sell handmade goodies?

For our stage performers, we'll be offering a small performance fee. If you're offering a service or selling your creations, you're welcome to charge attendees directly. We want Fatstival to be a place where our community can support fat-owned businesses, creatives and side hustles.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or trying something for the first time, we want to showcase the incredible talent within our community.

With more people booking on Thursday, we are working on having the hotel exclusively - and adding a whole new day of activities to the Big Weekend! Don't worry if you can't make it - the weekend still officially starts on Friday, we just want to get the festival atmosphere up and running!

Check-in opens at 3pm, but if you've arrived earlier you'll already find plenty of people relaxing in the bar.
Registration & Welcome
Head to the function room to collect your welcome pack, grab a drink and start meeting everyone. Our hosts will be around to introduce people, so don't worry if you've come on your own.
Hot Buffet Dinner
Dinner is served over a two-hour window, giving you the flexibility to eat when it suits you.
Get ready first then eat, or eat first and head straight to the party- the choice is yours!
Karaoke & Club Night
It wouldn't be Club Indulge without karaoke!
Warm up those vocal cords, request your favourite songs and cheer everyone on before we clear the microphones and turn the room into our first dancefloor of the weekend.

One of our most requested activities is finally here...
The Fat Babe Pool Party!
With the hotel's new ownership we've finally been able to make it happen.
Expect music, laughter, inflatables, good company and a wonderfully judgement-free atmosphere. Please remember there is no food or glass in the pool area so everyone can enjoy it safely throughout the weekend.
Hot Buffet Dinner
Served between 5pm and 7pm, giving you plenty of flexibility before the evening festivities begin.
FATSTIVAL PARTY
Pull on your wellies, your sequins, your hippy dress or your favourite band t-shirt and join us for a night celebrating fat joy, friendship and the freedom to take up space. Because every great festival deserves an unforgettable headline party!
Expect great music, dancing, laughs and plenty of opportunities to show off your flower power.
If dancing isn't your thing, the hotel bar is always full of people chatting, laughing and making new friends.

It's officially become our Sunday night tradition.
If you've never played before, don't worry, it's easy to learn (especially if you've watched The Traitors).
Will you be a villager, a witch, a seer... or a werewolf?
Pool access remains available until Monday morning for Big Weekend guests.
FATSTIVAL VIBES
We want Fatstival to be a celebration of fat folks, and the skills and talent that are often hidden due to weight stigma.
We're hoping for pop-up performances, creative workshops, artisan stalls, wellbeing sessions, games, talks and plenty of opportunities to discover something new. We're encouraging the incredible people within our community to lead activities, show off their skills, or just take up space and show off!
Fatstival is all about celebrating what happens when fat people are given the space to shine. Whether you're browsing handmade creations, joining a craft workshop, watching live entertainment, learning a new skill, treating yourself to a relaxing therapy session or simply wandering from room to room soaking up the atmosphere, something will always be happening.

A note for the straight sized men...
Look, we love a bit of mutual and respectful flirting. But Indulge has always been about confidence, camaraderie and community.
It's a space where fabulous fat people (of all genders), along with respectful friends and allies, can relax in a safe space. If you turn up expecting a hotel full of desperate women because you've fetishised fat people, you'll have wasted your money.
Do you want to be part of a fun loving, welcome community? You'll be more than welcome.
Just hoping fat women will be so desperate they'll bite your trousers off? Log off before you embarrass yourself any further.
HOTEL INFORMATION
Please keep in mind that we are making this as budget friendly as possible - which means using a budget friendly hotel.
Blackpool is great for parties, not the place you come for luxury! To us it was important to find somewhere that would have everything we need to provide a safe and comfortable weekend for everyone, which meant finding somewhere with communal meeting places, a pool, seats without armrests etc... we also wanted to make it as affordable as possible so we had to make compromises.
The hotels has stairs, but it does have a small lift. It also has steps at the front making it unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Once you're inside, all the entertainment rooms are accessible but it is not suitable for anyone with a large wheelchair/scooter.
The rooms have walk-in showers.
On site parking is LIMITED! It will be on a first come, first served basis and costs £4.50 per car, per night. Large car parks are nearby, £17 for 48 hours.
Indulge is about meeting other people who have had the same lived experiences as you and find confidence through camaraderie.
We do our best to make that happen for as many people as possible, which means keeping prices as affordable as we can.
THIS IS NOT A WEEKEND FOR SKINNY GUYS TO BE CREEPS. We can't stop you coming, but be aware this is an event for fat people to have their own space, not for you to be creepy. Anyone not behaving will be asked to leave!
