This isn't just another Big Weekend. We're turning the hotel into a celebration of fat creativity, talent, skills and community.

 

We want to turn the hotel into mini stages, workshops, galleries and pop-up experiences – and we want them to be filled by our Big Weekend guests!

Don't panic! Not a performer? No problem! Come and watch, browse, cheer people on and soak up the atmosphere - every great festival needs a fantastic audience.

🎤 Are you a singer, comedian, drag artist, burlesque performer, poet, musician or speaker?

🎨 Are you an artist, crafter, illustrator or photographer?

🧶 Do you knit, crochet, sew, make jewellery, create ceramics or sell handmade goodies?

💆 Do you offer massage, tarot, beauty treatments, henna, nail art or wellbeing sessions?

🎲 Do you run quizzes, games, D&D, workshops, craft sessions or other activities?

📚 Have you got a passion, skill or hobby you'd love to share with other people?

🎤 Do you want to give something a try at a supportive open mic?

If you have something that would make the weekend even more fun, interesting or inspiring, or even just a weird idea you would like to try - we'd love to hear from you.

For our stage performers, we'll be offering a small performance fee. If you're offering a service or selling your creations, you're welcome to charge attendees directly. We want Fatstival to be a place where our community can support fat-owned businesses, creatives and side hustles.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or trying something for the first time, we want to showcase the incredible talent within our community.
