Our November Big Weekend at Bluewater Hotels has been so popular that all of the accommodation SOLD OUT!​ But we've managed to secure a limited number of rooms at The Bromley Hotel, so a few of our ticket holders who wanted a quieter nights sleep have swapped to there...meaning we now have more rooms available at BLUEWATERS!

SO… WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS AT A BIG WEEKEND?

Quite a lot!

This isn't just a hotel stay. It's a whole weekend created around fat people having an absolutely bloody brilliant time together.

 

THE BIG CLOTHES SWAP

Bring along clothes you've fallen out of love with and swap them for something fabulous!

With sizes ranging from 18 to 30+ it's a chance to refresh your wardrobe, find something completely unexpected and have a good old rummage with other fat babes.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Get creative and enjoy the chance to sit down, make something, chat rubbish and generally embrace your inner crafty bastard.

THE SWIMMING POOL

Fancy a dip?

The hotel pool is available for Big Weekenders who fancy getting wet, relaxing and enjoying a bit of poolside time, and this year we're adding a pool party to the itinerary!

Leave the 'swimming t-shirts' at home and realise the world will not end if you're wearing a swimming costume.

 

KARAOKE

Can't sing? That's never stopped us before!

Grab the microphone, pick your power ballad, duet with a stranger or unleash your inner pop star.

 

THE BIG HALLOWEEN HIGH SCHOOL DISCO

When the sun goes down, the music goes up.

Get dressed up, get your dancing shoes on and join us for a proper Big Weekend disco.

Expect dancing, silliness, questionable song choices and a dance floor full of people who have completely forgotten they were ever supposed to be embarrassed about anything.

 

DRAG BINGO

Bingo.

But make it DRAG.

Expect hungover entertainment, prizes and a bingo experience that your nan probably didn't have in mind when she taught you how to play.

Big Weekend is about bringing together fat people from all over the country who want somewhere they can relax, socialise, laugh, dance, flirt, make friends and (most importantly) feel completely comfortable taking up space.

No need to be 'instagram fabulous', we're all in our loungewear here!

No pressure to be anything other than yourself.

Coming alone? Loads do! We cut out the cliques, and welcome solo flyers. You will gain access to an exclusive whatsapp group filled with fellow attendees so you can get chatting from October onwards.
