Speed dating is a fun matchmaking process which allows you to meet large numbers of new people in a short period of time.

You will meet each other over a series of short "dates",  roughly 4 minutes long. At the end of each interval, we ring a bell to let you know to move on to the next date.

At the end of the evening, you submit a list of who you would like to provide your contact information to. If there is a match, contact information is forwarded to both parties. Contact information cannot be traded during the initial meeting, to reduce pressure to accept or reject a suitor to their face.

We encourage you to see this as a great opportunity to meet new friends, not just potential partners!

All tickets MUST be purchased in advance. We sell equal number of male to female tickets, so if you need to cancel, please tell me in advance. If you fail to turn up, you may not be welcome at future speed dating events. 

We have two stages of tickets - Early bird or Standard. When early bird tickets sell out, only standard priced tickets will remain. it is in your best interest to book tickets asap to save the extra cost. Tickets are for entry into the event only. 

When all tickets are sold, we start a 'waiting list', so that if we have any cancellations, we can maintain the balance in numbers. 

We understand that sexuality and gender are all very fluid, so we leave it up to you to decide. Due to the nature of speed dating, we have to simplify it into One Group Of People Move Around To Meet Another Group Of People. 

In this case women sit, whilst men move to each table. Not everyone is totally gay, and not everyone is totally straight so we leave it to you to decide what you prefer to do. If you want to meet women, buy a 'blue/male' ticket, and if you want to meet men, buy 'Red/female' tickets.

If you feel uncomfortable at the thought of spending four minutes chatting to someone who is LGBTQ, then do not come to Indulge events. We promote friendliness and inclusivity.

We will check all your contact details during registration. You will be asked to write the names of the people you liked, and if they liked you beck then you will receive each others email addresses the next day. Your phone number will not be shared. 

If someone asks for your details during the event, please let us know as we do not want people feeling pressured. 

We will not run speed dating events with less than 10 people of each 'side'. However, whilst tickets will be sold, we cannot force people to come. But if you cannot come, please tell us 24 hours beforehand so we can open it up to people on the waiting lists.
